Benevolence/Bereavement

Ministry Team Leader: Bro. Charles Kato, Jr.

The benevolence ministry strives to draw people closer to Christ by assisting with basic financial and material needs.
The bereavement ministry is in place to assist and provide comfort to those going through the grief cycle painful experience or the loss of a loved one.

Building & Transportation Maintenance

Ministry Team Leader: Bro. Larry Christopher

Our building maintenance ministry is responsible for the internal and external maintenance of the church sanctuary, annex building, transportation fleet and grounds. It is the goal to assist with providing both a clean and pleasant worship experience.

Education

Ministry Team Leader: Bro. John R. Taylor, Sr.

The education ministry services all age levels providing Bible School, Vacation Bible School (VBS) and tutoring.

Finance

Ministry Team Leader: Bro. Elijah Cameron

The finance committee serves by overseeing the finances of the Church, insurance, liabilities, and contractual agreements of the church.

Finance Classes

Ministry Team Leader: Bro. Bernard Harris

Finance classes are offered to the membership to encourage them to be good stewards of their monies, i.e. budgeting, investments and giving back to the Lord.

Marriage Classes

Ministry Team Leader: Bro. John R. Taylor, Sr.

The marriage ministry works to provide fellowship and a great Christian experience. However, focus is geared toward our married couples. Whether you are newlyweds or have been married for what seems like “forever”, the Marriage ministry is provided to serve you. This ministry also serves those who are engaged or may be considering marriage. The Marriage ministry provides pre-marital and marriage counseling. Marriage retreats are a real treat too.

The media ministry manages video recordings and other media production services of the worship experience.

Membership

Ministry Team Leader: Bro. John R. Taylor, Sr.

Those serving in our membership ministry provide for the spiritual needs of both new and current members and strive to assist with the Christian experience. The membership is divided into zones by zip codes. Zone leaders assist also with the spiritual needs and visitation of the church members.

Singles

Ministry Team Leader: Bro. William Cotton

The single ministry works to provide a great fellowship for our single status members. Our singles participate in luncheons, retreats and conferences.

Transportation

Ministry Team Leader: Bro. Kenneth Cameron, Sr.

The transportation ministry provides transportation to those in need of a ride to worship service, mid-week services and sponsored activities and special events.

Ushers

Ministry Team Leader: Bro. Marschel Lusk

The usher’s ministry is to meet and greet members and visitors, assist with seating when seating is not clearly visible to guest and members. Offer visitors a visitor’s card so they can be acknowledged, and follow-up information can be shared with them.

Worship

Our children are our future. The purpose of the Youth Ministry is to lead or youth closer to Christ by engaging and involving them in area activities, conferences, bible classes, bible bowl and other positive activities
